The Sony a7 IV is the new all-around full-frame mirrorless camera pushes beyond basic, which is perfect for both content creators and professionals who want to shoot strong stills and 4K video. A truly advanced hybrid mirrorless camera, the unit has a newly developed 33MP Exmor R full-frame sensor features a back-illuminated design that promotes high clarity, low noise, and vivid color rendering. The a7 IV incorporates 759 phase-detection points for quick and precise AF focusing in a variety of lighting conditions and enable up to 10 fps shooting, using either the mechanical or electronic shutter, thanks to the flagship AF system and BIONZ XR Processor. UHD 4K 30p XAVC HS 10-bit recording is possible using the full width of the sensor, offering 7K oversampling for impressive sharpness and realism. The camera features a 5.5-stop effective 5-axis image stabilization system compensates for five different types of camera shake encountered during handheld shooting of stills and video.
Included with the Sony FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Lens is a versatile, compact, and lightweight wide-angle to portrait-length zoom lens designed specifically for full-frame E-mount cameras. It is also compatible with APS-C-sized image sensors and will provide a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 42-105mm. In regard to the optical design, three aspherical elements and one extra-low dispersion element help to reduce aberrations and distortions while contributing to notable image sharpness and clarity.
